Curbside composting is as easy as curbside trash/recycling for the areas we serve. Set  your bucket the curb on the morning and we’ll swap it out for a fresh bucket and make sure  those scraps become rich soil. All Nordic trash, recycle, curbside composting services are  done on the same day in each town for your convenience.

Drop off composting happens at any of the 3 CO-OP Food Stores in White River Jct VT and  Hanover and Lebanon NH on any day of the week during their store hours. You bring your  full bucket to the store’s outdoor shed and pick up your fresh composting supplies from the  Service Desk inside.

Our food composting service is designed for a wide range of industries including gas stations, food pantries, hotels, assisted living facilities, transfer stations, restaurants, coffee shops, offices, bakeries, schools, and condos within an approximate 50-mile radius of Lebanon, NH.


We practice good sanitation by using watertight rolling carts that are cleaned each week. Because food scrap output can vary greatly from week to week, we can supply you with extra carts and only charge for the carts that are used.

Never thought I would need to review the garbage man, but alas a good one is hard to find in the Upper Valley. Until recently unless you wanted to haul your own trash you could choose between the guys that forgot to pick up your trash more than half the time while sending duplicate invoices or the company charging an arm and a leg. No longer! Nordic Waste is a small family owned company that will reliably haul away your trash for a reasonable fee. Heavy snow storm? Don't worry, they'll e-mail to let you know that it's a snow day and they'll be by the following day instead. And they really recycle your recycling, instead of just dropping it in the dump! Composting services also available.
